The Freebie for this week is called

Flying Geese Runner

 This table runner will make quite a statement on your table.  It is larger than normal but can be adjusted to any smaller size you desire.

It is pieced onto a simple muslin foundation, keeping the construction simple and easy.  The finished size is approx.  19" x 62".

  For 2012 we will be continuing to collect loonies to donate to assorted local charities.  The Friday Freebies will remain FREE with any purchase in the shop.  Without a purchase we request a donation of $1.  Imagine what we could collectively donate over the next year!

   

A few things to note about the freebie:

• all you need to do to get your freebie is drop by the shop Friday, Saturday or Monday and pick one up. The pattern is free with any purchase and are free with a $1 donation to charity otherwise. Quantities are limited so you might want to call and reserve a copy but please call during shop hours and speak to us personally so we don't miss messages left on our machine. We'll save reserved copies until Monday at 5pm. Remember you need to pick the pattern up yourself. It cannot be picked up by the neighbor, friend, spouse, family pet...you get the idea.

• if you miss the freebie offer, don't worry, most patterns are available for sale in the shop
• Most of all, have fun and I hope the designs inspire you to keep sewing and quilting.
• Please do not photocopy or reproduce the pattern to share with friends. They are welcome to come to the shop and pick up their own copy to enjoy.

I used out Believe batiks for this wonderful throw quilt.

It combines just two simple blocks making it perfect for all skill levels from beginner to experienced.  The finished size is 56" x 74".
